Kim was raised in the local area, went to St.F.X. and is now a REALTOR with RE/MAX for over 8 yrs. She believes there are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional-integrity, in-depth community and marketing knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation and professional networking skills, all of which are hallmarks of how she does business. Her "client first" philosophy has always been her approach and it requires her to continually improve her skills. In addition, she has found that the latest technologies are enabling her to do everything she has always done more quickly and efficiently.
Kerstin grew up in a small town in Eastern Germany and after graduating from high school and achieving trades in both Farming and Waitressing, was able to reach a sizable personal goal by buying her first property at the age of 21. After the wall came down in 1989, Kerstin built and managed, together with her first husband, an Auto Body Shop and a Car Dealership in a town on the outskirts of Berlin. Through this experience, Kerstin was able to educate herself in bookkeeping, and business management through home studies and evening courses that later provided her with a diploma.
In 1995, Kerstin relocated and began a new life in Guysborough County, Nova Scotia. For the first few years, Kerstin worked in the tourism industry, renting cottages in the community. Upon the arrival of her daughter Lisa in 1997, Kerstin began working part time with a local family recourse center, and later in a bakery and restaurant that provided her with exceptional people skills.
By the age of 40, Kerstin changed careers by obtaining her Real Estate License, and finding her occupational passion. Kerstin views herself as very privileged in the industry by speaking fluently in both English and German. She loves working with people, and prides herself on the honesty, integrity, and professionalism she provides to all of her clients. Kerstin is very proud to be a part of the Remax family serving the highland region of Nova Scotia.
In her spare time, Kerstin loves to golf, travel, taking an active part in her community and spending time with her partner Daniel Hart and family. She resides in Boylston, and has been a resident of Guysborough County for just shy of 25 years. You can reach Kerstin at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 1-902-533-2645).
